Re: Tamiya Hex Questions for wheels
Those are 12mm hex.
You'll need to have a Kyosho person chime in on whether or not those buggies had 12mm or not.

Re: Tamiya Hex Questions for wheels
Mike, these adapters will not fit on an ultima axle. They are for the frog axles which I think is 6 mm diameter. Beside that the threaded part of an ultima axle will be inside of the adapter leaving nothing to thread the nut on.
If you want wider axles and hexes you can use (kose?) tlt-1 option parts: as I did for my ghostrider project, or the TGX wide axles with about 10mm thick plastic hexes

Re: Tamiya Hex Questions for wheels
ah , right. Then those are exactly what you need, but much cheaper are the hpi truck wheel adapators. With a small modification, the adaptors for putting hpi wheels on a monsterbeetle will do the exact same as these tamiya parts.

What ere you going to use on the front of the frog? Can you put the steeringknuckles of the ultima rb5 on the frog monsterbeetle style?mikedealer wrote:actually, wanted these for a frog so i can use same rims/tires on my ultima lol
(you could also try prying 8x5 bearings into asso front wheels I think)
