That was actually the very first thing I noticed when discovering the body for the first time and my guess was also that they used a 3 piece mold, most probably because of the rear and front end going to the inside of the body, making it quite difficult to remove the body after the molding process. It was also the first time I noticed such a thing on a body... Anyway, the scaling and its look are amazing IMHO and I am already in the process of having it airbursh painted until the very last detail together with a 1st gen box-art body to go along with my early Edinger carmrlexan wrote:David, are those three piece mold lines I see cutting across the rear window and hood?
