This ^^

And yes, Thunder Tiger is just pulling from the same playbook as Tamiya at this point. It is bordering on poor form, but, you can't blame them if we (I include myself here) keep buying them

As for the RC10 "brand", well, the 'Import Fighter' has now been an import for longer than it hasn't been, that is just the stark reality. Somehow we don't hold Gene and Roger culpable for that now do we. It is a nice color rose, our glasses, isn't it?

Lastly, Chinese/Taiwanese manufacturing being synonymous with poor quality is just patently untrue, and has been for like probably 20+ years now. Every country has excellent, good, and shitty manufacturing, it really boils down to what the customer is willing to pay for and what a company is willing to do to maximize their profits.

... this is the part where I *could* devolve into griping about how our country of corporations and government maximized profit and greed over maintaining manufacturing independence and sovereignty. But there is likely enough President's rolling in their graves at the moment, so I won't go any further 8)

Happy President's Day!

Amen! I'd go much further to blame the corporations than the government. I mean on one hand everyone says government stay out of my business, then Business does what Business does and it's why didn't the government stop this?

But you are correct, this is a friendly place and hard to have a rational conversation about anything like this without context and knowing more about the people having it. So back to Gold Wheels, Green Chassis's and 1991 in my head

Let's not give them any more suggestions for colors or themes!

i dont get how people are remaining to be excited over a cheap re-skin of literally the same thing... again, and again, and again.

Is that the only difference from the 40th?

I like that they keep making them so that they can keep supporting the parts...........
I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.

It looks like it's good wheels, chassis says 2025, and different decals.

Pre-ordered thru A-main. It was either this or an RC10GT. Wasn't really into nitro back in the day, may as well go for the gold! Something to do until the graphite finally shows up.

It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas

I won't ever knock them for pumping out more rc10's but I also won't be picking one up either. But it's great for others collecting and for those who missed out on previous versions, plus it's great for parts supply and the good wheels are nice too.

Hopefully we see more stealth cars though, and a graphite.

No, no, no, Mike. You can't say something like that yet! We haven't even gotten the graphite kit, potential various team versions, or the worlds car. I'm all ears for a b2 though
