Ballcups for 5.5mm studs

Post by JosephS »

I'm interested in using some modern AE 5.5mm ball-studs. They are easy enough to find, however I don't see ballcups like I do for the vintage sizes.
Does anyone make aftermarket rod ends for 5.5 mm?

I know Schumacher has more, I only found this one that specifically calls out 5.5mm:

You can use the RC10 B6 ball cups. They have a longer shank, but you can mark them and cut them down to the same length as original rc10 ball cups with a dremel, or if you happen to have misc. short turnbuckles, leave the ball cups long. #ASC91722
