Traxxas Lineup 1998

Post by Dangeruss »

Traxxas' lineup of electric cars, trucks and boats from 1998 that devoted, quite interestingly, ad space to the recently updated Sledgehammer, which would share retail shelf space with its younger Stampede brother:

Rustler: 1/10 2wd stadium truck released in 1994, spearheaded Traxxas' second generation all plastic platform.

Stampede: 1/10 2wd monster truck released in 1994, a lifted version of the Rustler stadium truck with plastic skidplates and tunnel style chassis.

Bandit: 1/10 2wd off-road buggy released in 1995, a narrower track shorter version of the Rustler stadium truck.

Spirit: 1/10 2wd on road truck released in 1995, utilized the Cat chassis from 1986 with a truck body.

Street Sport: 1/10 2wd parking lot racer released in 1996, shorter and narrower than the Bandit but shared no parts with any other Traxxas vehicle.

Sledgehammer: 1/10 2wd monster truck updated in 1997 with all-black chassis/suspension/shocks and blue anodized skid plates and motor mount.

4-Tec: 1/10 4wd touring car released in 1998 as a belt driven mid-motor design with double a-arm suspension, shared no parts with any other Traxxas vehicle.

Blast: 24 inch, single motor, direct drive ready-to-run boat released in 1995.

Villian IV: 31 inch, dual motor, 2:1 drive, ready-to-run. Traxxas' first RC boat, released in 1989.

I had no idea the Sledgehammer came back in black in '98. That is sorta strange. Thanks for that nugget.
Hope you're doin' something fun.
