Can anyone ID this motor?

Its a single wound. Its missing the label.

It is a Team Orion/Peak (TOP). I have several, with different color heatsinks. Lots of different labels.

Oh TOP is the model not the orientation?

Opened it up and its not a single like I thought, its double wound. Maybe 16 turns? Idk. Commutator looks very worn.

Did you pull the armature out? Mine were all clearly marked.

I pulled the rotor out and its is marked “12T” which I guess is 12 turn. (I was way off lol). A 12 turn is a pretty hot motor. Lowest I ran back in the day was a 16turn.

Yes, it is near end of life.

It "might" survive being cut on a lathe, depending on how well the copper was cladded to it. I've seen some that could be cut until the end and others that started peeling and flaking away.

Ok not ideal but put the rotor in a cordless drill at high speed and put a bit of 240 grit sandpaper against it.

Maybe polish it with a strip of 1000 grit wet/dry sandpaper.
