Re: hydrogen peroxide, am I missing something?
I use 12% from the beauty supply place, and a semi-cheap UV bulb. I usually end up with great results in about 8-12 hours. This is the "big" thread on the subject: https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=14978

I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.

Re: hydrogen peroxide, am I missing something?
Thanks for posting up the process. The parts were always a bit off white, nearly ivory. Your results look great and seem natural for the process.
I think a lot of the nylon whiting is informed by whitening bones. Seeing an alternate to the traditional UV is great.
The sound and feel you mentioned is the best way to tell hydrated vs dry nylon. I have read that nylon will take on 1-3% weight from dry to hydrated.
I'm not sure that order of operations actually matters. My thoughts were that if the plastic was dehydrated that it would absorb the peroxide. There is no proof at all that this causes any problems.
