Bullet trx 10
So digging through so stuff at my step dads house. I found my old bullet trx 10 from when I was a kid, probably 6 or 7. I haven't ran this since the mid 90s I'm guessing. But I remember how much fun I had with it, and with my step dad. Now that my son is around that age I'm wanting to get one for us to play with. Anyways it's all original, I still have the box, manual, parts list, order form, warranty form, charger, controller, parts, tools. The pivot gear is stripped and original body is trashed. But I'm just curious if it's worth anything, or how to go about selling it. I'll have to take another pic of the car, the pic I took won't load.

Re: Bullet trx 10
Very cool! I bought one when they were first released. I had completely forgotten about that body. I replaced it right away, so I must have had an issue or really didn't like it.
My first and only "race" win was with a Traxxas Bullet...
because whoever was in charge judged a motor to be "stock" if it had fixed timing regardless of the wind.

Good news is TBG makes a replacement body for it. https://teambluegroove.com/products/vintage-traxxas-bullet-body-rad-radicator
Consistency is the key I keep misplacing.

Dude, keep it, dig into it, clean it up, replace some parts, and shelf it. Unless you want to lightly run it. You may regret letting it go if you do. It's corny, but it sounds like there are some memories attached to it. Worry not, everyone here has "corny" memories attached to little toy cars, even though they may be classified as "hobby grade".
Take that parts list and start Googlin'. eBay too.Hope you're doin' something fun.

Re: Bullet trx 10
Probably right. I didn't know they made replacement bodies. I think their was still an extra decal kit. Just need to work an overtime shift or two and save up for a new one

I wonder if this number B0002474 is from traxxas original and the "vin" of the car

Re: Bullet trx 10
That's definitely a legit Traxxas serial number sticker. I don't know why, but sometimes Traxxas stuck them to the chassis and then other times they are stuck on the box.
Hope you're doin' something fun.

Funny thing is. I started to look over the car after I seen that and it still has the sticker on the bottom. But it's a different number.

Re: Bullet trx 10
If you are really looking to sell it not really sure about todays pricing but these don't usually command alot of money. Ebay would be your best bet for the most money if you were wanting to sell it. Facebook has some decent groups for free auctioning but you don't get the ebay numbers. Most vintage traxxas doesn't get alot of love all around but that is a nice survivor example. Besides body condition its missing the top deck is all I can really see missing. The most valuable piece you have there is that rollbar on the body though. I've bought way more basket case bullets just for the rollbar than I'd like to admit.
.
anyway, good luck with your decision.

Thanks for the info. I got that as well. Just was in the box. But after thinking about it, I think I'm just going to but a body and paint it. Just got to find the decals for it or some one to make them.
