I wonder if you find it as annoying as I do that many products and spares don't give a good description of measurements.
Especially with vintage models for which spares are difficult to come by.
Probably loads of compatible or adaptable parts if sufficient descriptions were available.
A database on this site could be helpful?

Fully agree...
It would be so simple to have with each pinion, gears or other technical part a single description with the différent elements making it easy to find equivalence...

(and the same goes for tires and rims...)
I buy kits to build and ru(i)n them :-)

Yes, very annoying! ..especially when trying figure something out online from pics. Every piece of hardware needs the size and length shown, bearing sizes..wheels and tire sizes too.
