That's a great-looking project, Derek. I'm a big believer in using up spare parts lying around to make something new and unique.

Those are some great looking wheels. But I'm partial to that style.

That's an interesting battery location. Is that for more weight on the front wheels? It seemed like you had a good spot reserved on the right side. Maybe there will be 2 batteries!

It looks like you might have a sources of paint that's similar to RC10 gold annodize color. Is that true? Any details?

Yes on the paint....I did and rc10 restored with it last year, I will dig up the link...actually i am ditching that battery too for a more streamlined approach....stay tuned!

Starting to take shape now....the battery will go sideways in front of the motor mount under the belt, it won't hang off chassis at all and is only15mm tall which clears the belt...don't have it yet....2000mah 2s 50c. The dogbones are ordered...65mm rear, 61mm front Fabbed up some nose tubes....can't have an rc10 without those
