turbo mid special "ULTIMATE MID"

Post by GJW »

i woke one morning a few week's back and hello hello.. what's this! a turbo special for sale, i hastily made my offer on the buggy after viewing photo's emailed by the seller and the deal was done. :P knowing it would need some work and for the price was happy to do so, the kyosho made it's appearance and was a mess with the good old thread locking compound all over the shop, here we go again i thought  i went over the entire chassis/bottom of the car and not one scratch  i was lucky to have new belt cover's, rear sway bar(still need to fit) and a factory red scr saddle pack in stock

so here she is all cleaned up, a very rare steed! 2 per hobby store here in australia 8) 8)

That looks awesome.

Carbon fiber chassis looks so nice. Love the style of this Mid the most. Unlike the Custon special which looks like a space craft.

Very nice.

This looks really nice. These flourescent wheels - Are they standard on the LWB?

"The LWB" was in fact three models:
- Turbo Optima Mid Special
- Optima Mid Custom
- Optima Mid Custom Special

The wheels shown in this thread was stock on the Turbo Optima Mid Special. Kyosho actually included eight wheels/tires in the box (shown in picture below):
