Looking really good, I never really thought about doing it but maybe you could cut down black nose brace tubes.
Who do you race for ?
Me……. I race for me.
That’s impossible, I was told you need a sponsor to race.

Maybe a little of both.

Note that they aren't drilled through. They are tapped for 4-40 screws at each end. But drilling them through only takes a few minutes.

Scr8p mentioned that the other day. That's weird they are drilled wrong. That info should be forward back to jconcepts.

Well, while trying to decide on the wing tubes I think I'll use these CV's I've had since the 80's.
I ran them for quite a while on my Houge.

And got the Andy' Pro-Arrow body, trimming, trimming, trimming...

The wheels, don't think they will stay. Got some true vintage wheels and tires from the 80's too. Spikey!

Also some more of the build...

Andy's Pro Arrow for the win.

About 90% trimmed and the fit is quite good.

In clear form, that looks a lot like a Turbo Optima body shell.
Frankensteined RC10T3 / Franky Jr RC10GT-e (x2) / A+ stamp / Toy Story RC / Graphite replica / B1.5 BFG 5LTi / Clonewald / Hyper Hornet

That looks fantastic, very retro! You have some serious painting skills

The wing looks cool as it is but if you're going to paint it I think that gold stripe across the back has two continue across the wing too?

Thanks Doug

Pretty much sums up what I was after.
It's a car much like what I would have run BITD.
Andy's arms and Andy's Arrow body. Motor- one of my Trinity 1985 Monster Horse Power. The vintage Schumacher tires and the wheels were also my old stock. Esc -Novak.
The paint was not intended to be "over-the top" just reasonably crisp, clean and simple, much like the rest of the car.
The white portion of the hood is a nod to a few of Andy's paint jobs I've seen, but not a copy.
Overall I'm happy with the results and it's not a clone of any of my other RC10s.
