Playin With An Airbrush

Post by Dadio »

Just recently got a airbrush and compressor so I've been playin .
This was my first go at a body , it's externally painted over an old runner body .

Meant to be a dragon and i might try some flames as well soon .
This is my second attempt, again painted externally over this monstrosity .

Its a metal plate effect , I need to go back over the rivets as they have sunk under a few layers of shading as have the edges of the plates but its all a learning curve .Oh I removed the window masks too soon as well so they look rough .

If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.

My first properly internal airbrush body , not perfect but I'm happy with it , I over did it with the black back shadow .
If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.

I think you did a good job! I've used airbrushes for various hobbies over the years and while there is a learning curve, they produce excellent results with a little practice and understanding. Painting "backwards" is also another level of complexity. Keep it up! :)
