Airbrush Compressor?
I need some help from you guys. I have a Sparmax AC-100 home in EU and I would like to find the same or a similar one in quality. Where is a good place to shop?

Many thanks,
Mannekenpis.

you could use an airbrush hooked to a shop air compressor, set at low pressure. if you would try to use a small spray gun at low pressure, it will not atomize the paint enough, do to the larger tip size. the paint will come out in drops, instead of fine particles.beardxxxd wrote:when someone that has knowledge answers the above
any reason why i cant use my garage compressor set at a low psi with a cheap airgun kit..
or will i get same results with a spray paint can?
an airbrush has a very small needle, and will atomize the paint efficiently at a low air pressure.

scr8p, I have yet to try as I assumed it would be difficult to regulate low pressure. Any additional advice/specs on airbrush? Thanks.scr8p wrote:you could use an airbrush hooked to a shop air compressor, set at low pressure. if you would try to use a small spray gun at low pressure, it will not atomize the paint enough, do to the larger tip size. the paint will come out in drops, instead of fine particles.beardxxxd wrote:when someone that has knowledge answers the above

i'm not much of an airbrush guy. most of my r/c paint jobs are easily done with a spray can.
i do have an airbrush. i've had it for years. i haven't used it too much. it's a single action aztec, i think. if you want a good one, look for a dual action airbrush. that way you can regulate the amount of paint and air pressure while you spray. just like a full size automotive spray gun.
that's about all the help i can give about airbrushes, specs wise. get a dual action airbrush.
