The 'Family'.
I think I have a touch of OCD.
What began years ago with the purchase and restoration of a JRX2 because I thought the 5 link rears were funky, turned into buying and restoring with box art bodies, every Losi buggy, touring car (Street Weapon IWCE) and truck made, from the first JRX2 until drawing the line at the end of the XX series, with a XXX Kinwald and a XXX BK2 thrown in because I love Brian and his cars and all 3 make a bad ass set.
A few weeks ago, I pulled all the buggies out for some family photos.
I need to finish painting my GTX and Junior T and shoot the trucks, but anyway, here are the buggies.
Not sure why the BK2 isn't in this? The new built Street Weapon is missing, too, dang it.
Under the Heavy Metal Class 8 truck body lingers a new built XX-4 World's Edition dripping in Trinity parts, the XX Kinwald did not escape every Trinity part made, though I removed the rear bulkhead and sold the front one for $500, to a party who shall remain nameless.
Most have era correct Novak, or Tekin electronics.

That is one impressive collection!
And you have even more that is not in the picture?
This got me thinking of getting some more Losi cars...

Yeah, The new built never run Street Weapon IWCE, the BK2 and every truck they made to the final XXT CR Graphite Plus.
The XXX stuff just doesn't have the same cool vintage vibe, apart from the Kinwald cars.
Buy some now, prices are only going up!

Re: The 'Family'.
I agree. The XXX stuff only reminds me of how good the XX days were. I finished collecting each XX 90s Losi, and now I can rest easy playing with all the left over parts!FasterLouder wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 1:37 am The XXX stuff just doesn't have the same cool vintage vibe, apart from the Kinwald cars.

Prices will crash in two years, when nobody can pay up. Wait for it!
