Hi All,

I have almost finished my Turbo Mid SE, just in need of the front and rear sway bars and to clean the wheels but here's a pic of the 3 SWB's together, hope you like them......now to move onto the LWB's.....I' m about to start on a Turbo Mid Special

I finally got one! Been looking for one for so long. Will be rebuilding this one asap, I hope you guys can help me through it.

Looks like an upgraded steering assembly. It has a little shaving, is this really from Kyosho made for this chassis?...

The Turbo is my first new built Mid - used set of wheels dyed black with RIT

The Turbo Special is cleaned and rebuilt with the best used parts I had - Used set of wheels dyed orange with RIT

I guess they´ll both end up with their respective stock...

Im tempted to copy that orange. Ive got a pile of wheels just need re finished. Finally got some 2.0 tires ordered up as well. Still cant seem to find any 2.0 4wd front specific tires though.

I never had one so my memory is fuzzy. To the best of my memory, and please correct me if I'm wrong, the Optima Mid came with gear diffs and the SE came with ball diffs. I remember people running the ball diff in front and a gear diff in the rear....

Oh hey, i bet nylon gears would work wonders in a notchy optima diff.

Try manually running a drill bit in the holes for the outgoing axles on the diff case halves - I've had diff cases which were a little bit off in that spot, causing the diff to...

I think I have a touch of OCD.
What began years ago with the purchase and restoration of a JRX2 because I thought the 5 link rears were funky, turned into buying and restoring with box art bodies, every Losi buggy, touring car (Street Weapon IWCE)...

I agree. The XXX stuff only reminds me of how good the XX days were. I finished collecting each XX 90s Losi, and now...

Andy's pro race arms for the narrow bulkhead. A couple of my old cars on page 1 have them..... both graphite cars and the 1 molded chassis.

Did you ever find a set? I spoke to Andy a few weeks ago, and he said that we he got out of the business...

This is my dads original rc-10. He tried getting it runing this past summer but found that it didn't perform as it used to. the slight flat spots on the tires and lack of oil in the shocks certainly contributed to that.
I swiped the car from him...
