Parts Needed for re-re's
Hey,I'm new to this forum. I have some questions: Is the re-re chassis for a Stealth Transmission? Will Trans case 6565 fit the re-re chassis? What is the difference between the 6565,and the 6564?
I need part #6471 (I have 9 chassis)... Or do I have to use Dubro's Shock rod ends?
I need Left Outdrives...if unavailable,I may get a machinist to make a batch of them. This is for the Stealth transmission.Right?
Thanks, Mike

Mike
I have been using Associated 91721 B6 shock ends, and they come with a ball. The length of the ball is shorter than the original, so I often use a small nylon spacer to make up the difference.
On Ebay search "Vintage Associated Rc10 Stealth 2.25 Left Diff Outdrive 6578". You will find aftermarket ( not OEM ) outdrives. Purportedly of good quality. I have not personally used them.
These outdrives are not cheap but from my point of view, all of these parts seem to be going up.
A member here on the forum had aluminum outdrives (maybe not quite as durable) a year or so ago. Use the forum search "Aluminum RC10 Outdrives-- Available NOW!"

Re: Parts Needed for re-re's
Hey Jason- That was a good find. I checked their site and they don't list the outdrives so I reached out to them. However, they have B4 front wheels (wish I knew about this a week ago!) and varying top shafts. I also asked if they could offer a B4 top shaft as an option seeing that they are out of production. I'm sure they can but they'll probably ask for an original if they don't have one on hand which I can't provide.
