Rebuilding a B2 (A series of builds by rcpelle)
So as posted in my B3 build thread, I have decided to do a few more builds. This one is about building a B2 in 1996 style - the year I started driving for Team Associated after approaching Gene Hustings at the 1996 Florida Winter Champs. I am using as many original parts from back then as I can. I am finding B2 parts quite hard to find, but I am not necessarily building a launch period correct car, which means that some part are parts that came closer to the launch of the B3 in 1997. I will post images a long the way, but I already have the body painted and ready, which is kind of the other way around.

Finding parts, cleaning them and test attaching them to each other. I think I need a new chassis. At this point I was missing the steering assembly, and both rear and steering hubs. I also have a few too new part on here.

Getting more parts together, but I am missing a few key B2 parts. The chassis is B3 and so is the front top plate. It has new B2 composite arms, the correct rear arm mounts with the smaller screws and only a number 3 written. The correct rear chassis plate, but it is worn and stripped for anodizing (did that back then). It has an original blue motor plate, but I am not sure that that was available on the time of the B2. I have a clean black one too. I am debating if I should build it with a Schumacher Visco Drive or not. What do you think? It has the correct B2 slipper on now. I am missing and looking for black alu shock caps.

That's not just a stash, that's a gold mine!

It has a ton of sentimental value for sure, and probably a little $ value too.
