The geometry is good- better than stock, id put some better looking hardware on it and call it good.
Yeah, it's got some mismatched screws. The servo horn isn't centered. It has too much travel in one direction, but not enough the other way. I'm still not sure I want to keep it, though.

x2 on that. \
I've had a few rc10t's over the years show up with this same kind of setup and thought it odd. Mostly these were all dismantled parts cars/sliders type lot buys that they came in so thought it was a little back yard engineering but there was another question like this several years ago that someone else answered that had an article out of an RC magazine as part of the answer. Can't find it myself right now but pretty sure it was moved to the temples rc tech forum when we did some rearranging several years back.

Just resurrecting my XX and it seems my original Futaba S132 has finally given up. Just wondering what current servos are you guys using in your XXs? Thanks.
Hey guys, I'm looking for a good steering servo for a Rc10T3. I have Dirt Hawg II's on the front. Right now I am running a Hpi SF-1 servo out of my savage x and it doesn't move them as fast and strong as I would like. Any suggestions on a servo?...

Some things to consider like was mentioned is your steering end points. In the old days you simply remove the servo saver and put all radio settings in the middle. Turn the car on and servo would go to its neutral position. Reinstall the servo...
I think I trashed my stock one today, I am going to pull it all apart tomorrow. Anyone have any suggestions for a beefed up steering servo for a RC10T4.1? Thanks in advance.
Hey guys I'm just getting back to Rc's after probably 20+ years. I picked up an old RC10T3 that I'm trying to bring back to life. I'm pretty close I think but when I turn on the controller the truck turns the front wheels all the way to one side and...

Yea that's the next plan! I already had to steal the motor and the radio receiver from the XTM . When I originally bought it the guy thought he had 2 RC10T3's but actually only one of the RC10's. I got both trucks, chargers, the full suspension for...
The losi 22t 2.0 is so advanced that it doesnt have any type of servo saver and i have gone through all my old plastic gear spares. Can you guys recommend a tough metal gear servo? I dont necessarily need a powerful servo, just a tough one. I had a...

I also recommend the Hitec 645MG series. The 5645MG is good too, I think the 5 denotes digital. The 645 is affordable too at around $35.
The Savos 1257TG is good too, and has titanium gears. These are about twice the price of the Hitec.
I have several RC10 buggy builds that I'm in the process of outfitting with electronics. These 10's will never be raced, merely tested and shelf'd. I'm looking for a smaller Futaba servo or equivalent that would fit nicely in the chassis and still...

Hi
I remember using a couple of Futaba S-132's when we first got our RC10's. They were faster, .13 seconds but really not enough torque to race offroad. We burned a few out also. The size is smaller and will work on an outdoor offroad track for demo...
I have 2 or 3 servo mounts and linkage in my parts box that came with my truck. I was going to use them to put a steering servo in my truck with them. But after looking at the instructions they say to only use double sided sticky tape. That would...

here's the rpm servo mounting posts:
I prefer anodized aluminum servo arms, on metal geared servos, with no servo saver on vintage vehicles.
