A&L factoryworks 10T to T2 steering conversion kit

Who has used this RC10T to T2 steering conversion kit and does it work well enough over stock to justify the cost? I'm not currently in need to replace the old stock servo saver setup, but trying to plan for possible future breakage, and given the rarity of stock 10T bellcrank parts (still around on ebay for $14-17 or so), do the shorter arms help preserve the servo due to less leverage for it to overcome?

I'm a little biased since I own the company, but the geometry in the T was not the greatest, the long steering arms went away on the GT and T2, and this kit does the same. The short cranks from a Worlds rere could be used on your T with proper hardware and would probably work just fine. The steering kits I offer are old school hopups and work great but aren't necessary by any means.

Now from someone thats not biased

You will see and feel the difference immediately with the shorter throw on a small tight track. After seeing the difference when I put the same set you have from factoryworks on my first 10T its one of the first things I replace on any of my runner 10Ts now. I'm not some hotshot driver that notices differences like partial seconds off of a lap or anything like that so for me to feel it and make my driving better it was worth it for me.

If you are running on a big sweeping oval you won't notice a difference but even bashing around I don't run a big sweeping oval anymore. Used to run gallons through my rc10gt on the softball fields locally for the speed of it but speed runs don't happen too much for me anymore with electric...

Is the version that comes without bearings actually a non-bearing version or does that mean you provide your own bearings to complete install?

You provide the bearings. You can use 1/4 x 3/8 flanged or unflanged. I provide Avid bearings on the sets "with"

Not A+L but I went re re worlds an like klavy said you notice immediately the difference,the steering is much more linear versus the on off type of feel with the long bellcranks.. Worth fitting for sure
