Are there two versions of the xxxt-cr?

Post by Superev1l »

I have two xxxt-cr's and they are different. Both have the complete ea3 chassis, quick change hubs etc. etc. The wheelbase seems to be the same, but for some reason one uses a much shorter battery strap, longer than a standard xxxt but shorter than a cr.

There were a few different chassis and straps. You had the Sport, CR, MF1, MF2 and maybe a couple others. There is at least 4 battery straps and 3 chassis I know of offhand, plus the optional ones.
I miss brushed motors in that hazy, everything seemed better when I was a kid, kind of way.

There is the 4109 which is the XL Chassis and the XL Battery strap 4170. Then there is the 4107 chassis which I think is a little shorter, that uses the 4117 strap. They are both EA3 material, I have seen them with big EA3 markings on them and I've seen them with no markings at all.
