Well good news got my rc stuff moved to new house and actually found an extra gear that I didn't know I had :) so dont have to worry about that for a bit but I found the fuel inlet fitting on the needle valve is broke and the idle screw and spring is missing. :( however my 3 y o son is super excited to help me rebuild it ... now I just have to find parts
Not sure if I can get the broken threads out of the needle stack with out damage Image

Think this would fit my gx 15?

Does anyone have an exploded view diagram of the gx15 with part numbers?

It might. Would be as easy as sending a pm asking for the neck dimensions off that carb. I have a parts breakdown somewhere for it but really have no clue to where since I haven't done much anything nitro related (besides my rc10gt) in the last 10 years or so...

Kyosho emailed me the di agraham they dont seem to offer carb parts just the whole carb that's discontinued. Im going to hit a hobby shop to see if they can help. Or micrometer my v arb inlet and order the big bore Its really a shame parts are so hard to find. This was my first nitro rc and I'd love to get it running.

Its definitely do-able to get this running again. Just gotta get that micrometer out and do some measuring. Early traxxas carbs had the small necks like that but to me that looks like an older OS carb might just fit it with some finagaling...

Well projects getting put on hold... im getting a traxxas nitro sport in trade for some race car stuff I had lying around in the garage. Parts are readily available. I would like to fix my kyosho as a thrasher for my son but with parts hard to find idk. I might just sell it and upgrade my nitro sport. But if anyone finds this thread at least there is a good lead on a spur gear repair
