Perhaps once parts are available, this could be a category for the "Build of the Month" contest. It would be interesting to see how members build and option them.

no, but geometry looks great so it should be a matter of tweaking setup for the 4wd, otherwise camber positions, shock positions, bump steer etc have been maintained

Re: Ten4: the 4WD RC10 project
Hopefully these are the final versions

I'm hoping to get the prototype car together, and maybe running, by this weekend. Or at least in time for my weekly track outing a week from tomorrow.

They look legit, now what about the towers? Those are done tuning aren't they? I guess there's still the pulleys and belts too. It's definitely shaping up though!

Re: Ten4: the 4WD RC10 project
I think Jeff is basically done with the towers. When we texted yesterday i think he said he was going to add holes to the rear for b5m wing mounts for people that wanted to run them.
I still need to finalize the belt length, i think the current 200 tooth is a bit too long. I have 199s and 198s on order, one of those should be perfect. Especially with the new adjustable front tensioner.

Awesome work guys! Do you think it's possible to adapt this to a DS? Since the buggy has to be run in the "long" position was unsure how the DS nose compares to that in length. Obviously the towers and cvds would be another issue, but I think it would look very cool!
I'm not like them, but I can pretend...

Re: Ten4: the 4WD RC10 project
Wouldn't be an easy adapt to a DS, but as with anything a dremel and a hammer will often correct that!
Towers are ready, with lots of options!
Black or natural
CE or Worlds shape
With or without wing mounts on rear tower
71 or 89 front shocks

Re: Ten4: the 4WD RC10 project
We can keep a DS version in mind for a future project. Same for a 10T version, and a mid-motor version.
