Re: Ten4: the 4WD RC10 project
That tensioner looks to be well designed! I'm pretty excited to get up to speed on my build. Maybe by the time I get my Team Car, clean/whiten parts, and build on pink chassis that some of the parts will be available. I have a long way to go though, so you guys take your time!

Re: Ten4: the 4WD RC10 project
So how were you guys planning on making the parts available for purchase? I would assume the 3-d printed parts would be through shapeways, but what about the shock mounts?

I will have the shock towers, and the idlers and pullies will be from Robinson racing. The belts will likely be Amazon. It will be a fun treasure hunt cause besides the trans case all the parts are very easy to get (trans case won't be that hard just not stocked everywhere)

Re: Ten4: the 4WD RC10 project
Not trying to get y'all worked up or anything but this is the prototype I'm sending to Robinson Racing so they can test fit the pulleys. I think with the next batch of parts Brian has ordered as long as they fit well he can flip the switch and we can go live.
This is a metal flake powder coat. I'm still not a fan of PC but it doesn't look bad and should grab their attention!

Re: Ten4: the 4WD RC10 project
Looks great! Just curious what did you use to extend the front brace bars ( silver portion in picture)? Were those parts store bought or did you cut to fit?
