Found this Belt Drive Conversion on eBay and need some info
I believe this is a belt drive conversion for a Yok 834B but all I only know is that it resembles parts I have seen on this forum before. The drive gears (sprockets) both have 10 teeth and the belt is approximately the right length to replace a chain, does anyone have any knowledge of an actual Delta belt drive conversion and is this all the parts that originally came in the kit? The header card says Y-ZB33 so is this the correct header card or one for something else? Any information would be helpful.

Yes, I sent him an inquiry with a picture also. Great minds think alike.

It would be nice to get confirmation and some details, as of now Dave said he is looking into it.

Just got an update from Dave...
Delta definitely sold a belt conversion for the car with pulleys. Unfortunately, he has no additional info on the kit, but he will forward any details if they become available.

Cool, he hasn't responded to me other than to say he was going to Deltaland and would see what he could find, that was several weeks ago. Glad to hear something and who knows maybe he will find some info in the future. In the meantime I wonder if we can get tickets to go to Deltaland also?

Well a little update to show I have been busy working on this car:

As you can see the belt drive conversion fits perfectly in the RPS or 834B cars and I will also show the completed chassis next where I have installed the Delta slipper in the gearbox and fitted the rest of the 7 cell parts.

Did someone hijack Al's account? I'm seeing build pics.

Now that's something I've never seen before. Curious about the slipper as well

Re: Found this Belt Drive Conversion on eBay and need some i
Here's a little background, I did contact Dave Campbell and asked about the belt drive conversion and he said he would look for info the next time he went to the Delta parts stash but he never got back to me so I just left it alone. I also asked his uncle Ken Campbell on Facebook and he could not remember anything about the belt drive conversion but he did remember the Delta 834B slipper and did say they made a bunch of aftermarket hopups for the 834B Yok. I also asked Dave Campbell for an early 1/10 Delta catalog or price sheet that might have some of the Delta hopup parts listed but he said that he didn't have one that went back that far. Here's a blue print diagram of the slipper and a picture of an incomplete assembled slipper missing the spur gear (pic courtesy of RC10resto).
