just picked up a ds for a runner have a couple questions
What options do I have for some modern rubber to run mostly on a driveway track. Do.i convert the rear to 12mm hex? Are there any compatible wheels and tires I could bolt on?

you can use hex adapter drives in the rear, and the front hex/axle setup from a b4.2 and use touring car wheel and tires. you will have to do more searching on the board to see what individuals did as far as what wheels and offsets, but it has been done.

Thanks for the reply I have all the parts for the hex conversion I think ill go that route. Ill be checking out some other members rides for offset.

you can use wide or narrow hexes. All depends on the body, at least for me.
Ive used the HPI hex adapters from the 2.2 wheels and ive used NTC3 wheel hax clamps as well. For an even wider stance you can get offset wheels.
My pink barracuda has 9mm offset in the rears with the ntc3 hex clamps. the rear of the body is 210 and the front is 200 so it looks pretty sweet.
The wheels are close to the edge but tuck in nicely when the suspension compresses with no body rub

if you have trouble finding the b4 hex you can go for a set of these http://www.ebay.com/itm/380698319551?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
you need to enlarge the hinge pin hole slightly but otherwise the work great and have bearings as well.
If you are going for the HPI vintage wheels, 6mm is the greatest offset.
If going for a set of modern HPI wheels you will have option of 9mm as well. if this set is your choice and you can spring for it, get both 6mm and 9mm for the rears. you can see which clears the body. if they both clear then its just a matter of which achieves the look you are going for.
Ive used vintage 6mm all around on one of my cars just for the fat tire racer look and the vintage 3mm front / 6mm rear for a more traditional look.
its all a matter of what works and personal preference.
hope to see pictures soon, much luck

Hey Buddy,
here is the link to short download for the link lengths.
This for visuals
http://www.teamassociated.com/pdf/cars_and_trucks/RC10DS/Team/drawings.DS.pdf
This is the manual for the actual link measurements
http://www.teamassociated.com/pdf/cars_and_trucks/RC10DS/Team/ds_manualb.pdf
AS for pictures its best to start a photobucket (http://www.photobucket.com) account and upload them there.
then you get the "direct" code and post them on your thread using the "Img" button.
