couple more questions

well finally got all my stuff to run my old rc10 thats been in the closet for awhile.
but have a couple of questions.
i got genace 5000 mah 7.4 volt 50c batterys (2) and im running a sc700 bl with a 3300kv reedy but i only get about 15 min run time maybe a little longer. is this normal run time?
(my spur gear is 23 tooth and i got a b4 slipper set up with a 81 tooth going threw a stealth trans)

i have a older (about 04) traxxas receiver and transmitter "am" set up. about after i run the car for 10 min i lose a lot of my radio distance. what is causing this?

example. i been going to a base ball field close to my house and if i stand just behind 2nd base and the car is at home plate it at a dead stop it wont go. it only spins the tires for half a second then stops then i have to give it gas again and it does the same thing. but if i take a couple steps towards the car it is fine. transmitter has brand new batteries.

depends on how you are running it also. You got it ballstothewall constantly, lotsa deadstops to fullspeed, running moderate to slow?

Yeah actaully it is running pinned almost the whole time. Pretty much racing the base line around the ball field with a couple other turns.
But my gearing is ok? 21 and 81? Through a stealth

Gearing is fine, sounds like radio battery issues to me, going into radio fail-safe or your radio has old rechargeables or cheap batteries? My sons old SC had that speedo and motor and he'd get 40 min on our medium outdoor track-

I got all brand new rayovac battery's from Walmart. They where right next to Duracell battery's and 3$ cheaper for a 10 pack but still cost 8$. I have another traxxas remote in gonna swap to and see how that one works. And are my battery's really doesn't that much faster because it's being pinned for almost the whole battery life?
