b4 wheels on re re worlds car
b4 wheels on re re worlds car
Hello all, this is my first post here. I picked up a re re worlds car for the nostalgia thinking that I would run it occasionally. Then I ran it and saw how good it handled and how fun it is to drive so I am thinking of racing it. Now the thing is I would like to be able to use b4 wheels on it due to the plentifulness of the wheels...not sure if plentifullness is a word:). But I quickly learned that the offset is way different between the b4 and worlds wheels. Any ideas how to make this work? I am not against widening the worlds if thats what it takes, thinking maybe of having to frankenstein parts from other vehicles to make it work. I remember doing this to a gt some time ago, we used b4/t4 hubs and cvds off of something else, you know what i mean.
Thanks for any suggestions

Re: b4 wheels on re re worlds car
With the popularity of the re re original, and the re re worlds, Associated brought out a set of yellow and white 2.2 wheels for the rear, and use b4 fronts to keep racers driving for a long time, and not have to modify or frankenstien the car for it.

Re: b4 wheels on re re worlds car
if you want to run b4 rear wheels (because you already have a bunch) you have to either use klien arms with b44 rear bones, custom works wheel spacers and low profile nut. or you can use the stock arms, b4 rear hub carriers (drill them out to accept rc10 hinge pins) b44 rear bones, and custom works spacers.
personally i would just buy the correct offset wheels since they are available again, the b4 wheel mod isn't worth the cost compared to rims and tires in my opinion

Re: b4 wheels on re re worlds car
B44 axles are still too long for use with stock arms and B4 rear hubs, you need a Yokomo Bmax2 rear bone to make a hybrid cva. You'll still need a custom works spacer and B44 front low profile nuts.
