That's a cool, simple mod...but with transmitters being able to bind 10 or more receivers (FlySky GT3B does 10 I think), why even bother moving a receiver from car to car? :?

My dx2s can only have five, but more importantly, I only have one receiver, and I don't have $80 to spend on four others, and that's getting lucky on eBay.

They only work with dsm2, and aren't backwords comparable with dsm, or at least that's what I hear

You are correct, excuse my ignorance, if you are chasing some DSM1 receivers for not much money, i can probably help you out.

I may take you up on that, but first I think I'm gonna try an orange rx, despite common sense saying it won't work. I stumbled upon a few forum posts saying that you can use them. For 10 bucks i figure I'll just try it myself and put this all to rest.

Spektrum has taken this same approach with their newer receivers

That is the most beautiful receiver I have ever seen! And it's about time! When I first saw pictures of the sr300, I thaught that was how it was, but I was disappointed when I got my hands on one.

Great idea, I used a piece of two-way tape, always kept coming lose, I'll try that.
