Please identify this Vintage K&B Engine
Hello All, It seems that I cannot find the correct forum for this question so I am going to try here.
I have a vintage K&B nitro engine and I am having quite a time getting a correct identity. If anyone can help me out with the following questions:
What year was this engine made?
What model is it?
Did it come with a carb?
If it did what was the stock carb?
The carb in the pictures is a Perry. I am not sure that it is the original or not. I do seem to remember that for a period of time K&B used to offer some of there engines with a Perry carb straight from the factory.
As the piston and sleeve in this engine seems to still be in rather good shape I would like to get this thing running again.

Re: Please identify this Vintage K&B Engine
I can't help much except to say that K&B often utilized Perry carbs stock - So it is likely the carb is stock.

Early K & B maybe the Schnuerle port version with Associated SP-16 aluminum heatsink head. The Perry carb was the recommended carb on the early K & B as was mentioned before.

I believe its a KB 3.5 and commonly used on the vintage RC 1/8 road cars. The heatsink is aftermarket.
