Using Acetone on Dyed Wheels
I have some dyed wheels and want to removed the tyres that have been superglued on. My usual method is to leave them in Acetone for 24hrs, but was wondering as these wheels were dyed, will the acetone affect the dye.

The acetone may lighten the color if the wheels are submerged. If the fumes method is used (see terry.sc's post in this thread), it shouldn't affect the color.
