it's just a run of the mill a stamp gold pan..... nothing special.

front tower is wrong paired with the short arms. the car should either have wide track arms or a 2 hole tower. the tires and wheels are wrong, as is the body and trans brace. it should also have the light gold nose brace tubes instead of black ones, too.

I would like to make sure the towers are correct for the chassis. It came with the six hole front as a spare.
Not sure if its a cadillac or earlier??? The battery strap appears to be fibreglass and not nylon.
Yeah the holes are done quite well. I would like to strip the anodising back, and have it retreated.
With the peroxide do i just mix up a small batch and use a toothbrush to clean all the white parts.
Your car is a mish mash of parts put together from different eras.

Rear bulkhead and front arms are from an early Edinger/Cadilac.

Front tower and wheels are likely from a graphite car.

Nose tubes are from a Team or Worlds car.

Transmission brace is from a stealth era car.

And the black steering knuckles are the latest version...from a Worlds car or later.

Thanks guys.
So considering the condition of the car and the fact that it is such a mish mash, in your opinions, would you chase the correct parts? I would have no idea on how hard it would be to find them.
It would be nice to have it as period correct as possible even if I am going to run it.
Am I correct in thinking I should be trying to get early Cadillac parts?
What is the correct body? And best places to source one?
Thanks
Mick
