any glue on type of rims fit the stock 10T?

Post by jsomething »

i've searched the boards, but seems like everything has the wrong axle size, i'm guessing its a bigger size that i can't just drill out.

i'm kinda enjoying the speed runs thing a bit, but tired of tires flying off. i need to find something that is made for the stock 3 piece wheels, or some newer style wheels that fits the stock setup. from what i read going with t4 cv's require pretty much a whole rear end rebuild with different parts, and the T2/T3 ones bind up with the stock stuff still.

i'm looking to stay kinda cheap, since i'm saving money for a newer rc of some sort, probably 1/8th scale and then clean up the 10 for more of a shelf truck.

any ideas? maybe a hex adapter and a cheap set up hex wheels?

I know you are trying to stay cheap, but a set of t4 cvd's, rpm rc10gt hubs and bearings aren't that much and it will allow you to use all the modern wheels and tires.

If you're looking for 10T rear wheels for 1/4" axles they are Associated part number 7802 or ASC7802

These are the ones I run on mine. Proline oversized tires for 2.2 super glued to wheels :)

and they fit? do you drill them or anything? not that I'm above doing that, just need to read up on it, if I do.

Yea they fit like factory, my truck still has 1/4" rear axles. Like DHOOD said 7802 rear and the one piece wheel for the front is # 7842
