No, you don't want to tighten them, they screw in and out as the steering is actuated. Weird setup and as far as I can remember they were the only ones that did this

I have a GT setup with CVDs. I don't like them. One was clicking and its apparent they don't last like quality dogbones.

1. I popped out the CVDs and the RPM hubs have larger (frozen) bearings, I don't have new ones.
2. So I popped in the stock...

Dear all, I have taken possesion of the remains of what I believe to be a Kyosho Assault. It came with some mounting plates which I don't recognise from pictures of complete Assaults. Any ideas welcome, cheers.

Hello All,

I was given this Nikko F10 Rhino in 1987, one outing a rear suspension was broken (I was a small child) and never repaired, put into storage only for me to dig it out a few days ago.

I have a 4 year old son now and I've love to see...

does anyone make stock or like stock 6 gear rc10 steering (like pic) or worlds car steering part no. 6254 ?? i want to use Associated Aluminum Flat Head Screws 8-32x7/8 not rc10t/rc10gt special steering screws. any help,pics,links would be great

if i steer all the way in 1 direction the inner side tierods hit when i compress the shock(turn right its the right side, turn left its left side) anyway to prevent this???

as far as loctite ,that does not have effect on the threads in the nose plate when you disassemble the car??
I agree with what Mark said and just use a 'dab'. It won't affect the threads if you use the stuff that will come back apart. Different...

hi,

looks like the steering that came with my World's is kaput. Which of these should be the one to go for. Not fussed about keeping it original, just dependable. Unfortunately both sold by the same person that seem not to be liked too much by this...

I am in the process of restoring a couple of goldpans, both have alot of play in the steering. It seems like the parts are just warn, is someone making new or upgraded parts for these old cars ?
