Where can I buy a titanium turnbuckle kit?
Does anyone know where I can buy a titanium turnbuckle and hinge pin kit for a black pan RC10 buggy? Lunsford used to sell them, but I can't seem to find a kit. Do I really have to buy each one individual now after measuring?

Going for looks or performance? The shape of the turnbuckles changed - Kelly went from using basically a nut located at one end of the rod on the early stuff to the current centered 4 sided adjustment. If your trying to go for the period correct look they may be pretty hard to find new

i would get lundsford. they are still in production. those to me appear to be traxxas and i dont think there even titanium. lundsford comes in packages of 2 or if you can find a complete set that would be great.

These turnbuckles were the RCPS titaniums for the rc10. Yes you have to by the lunsford in pairs or watch ebay if you want one of the original sets.gomachv wrote:Going for looks or performance? The original lundsford were made the same way. I guess with him being local we probably saw more of them than some other regions but his were not always the shape they are now.

not the finest RC10 on the board and not the best-sized picture either but it gives you a visual comparison of both old-style and newer ("punisher") Lunsfords next to each other

I cannot find a pic real handy, but who made the older Ti turnbuckles that had the extra wide centers? Basically similar to the current Lunsford punisher Ti pieces, but with a much wider center adjustment area.

Are you talking about the ones that look kinda like stock newer era associated turnbuckles where the square is pretty wide but still not very large? I have had a few if those and have never figured out whose they were
Shaped like these but in ti?
