GoMachV's Tekin ACK-B01 RC10 mostly new build

Post by GoMachV »

Just finishing up on this nib tekin chassis, everything but the nose plate is new. I know these have been posted before and I am not bringing a lot to the table here so I'll let the pics do the talking. BTW....I thought the bodies were supposed to be a difficult fit? The Viper fits like a glove....

Oh, and the Losi rear carriers are here but waiting on some unflanged bearings :( and waiting on turnbuckles too

Very nice build. What shocks are you using?

Stock team shocks. 2 rears off a 10t front (1.02) and a pair of .71 buggy fronts. Hardest part was finding decent metal caps. I would have been OK with plastic but the new plastic caps have bosses for bleed screws and it kills the era correct look

That's a sharp car! Really digging those black rims. Will you be painting the body or leaving it clear to show off the chassis?

I am not a painter so I'm thinking about leaving it clear. Most of mine are at this point anyway and I kind of dig the theme. I will probably decal them up tho
