Updated, of course. A bulletproof version that addresses all the weak spots of the original, while keeping the overall appearance intact. But that's just me. :)

The "shadow car" may perhaps be this 1/7 Scorpion XXL VE?

I'm thinking you're right, as the image filename of that teaser shadow pic was 'Banner_big-scorpion'. Not sure why they'd do a 1/7 scale and have it not even look anything like the original, except for the wheels bearing a slight resemblance... :?

Anyone else read the length on the RB6? 395mm, that's 10mm more than the B4.1 WC with the +8mm chassis and the TLR22 and 5mm longer than the T4.1- hmmmm-

I've wondered if they're measuring to the tip of the wing. The chassis is long though! But that's probably the only way they could fit a regular stick pack with the mid-motor setup.

The scan was linked on RCTech forum but I resized it and put it on my own server. I don't remember the context it was linked but I instantly got back to this thread to share my find 8)

The explanation must be that todays car designers don't think like us... at all :D

Yeah, the activity on that forum is very good but sometimes it's too much "quantity" to the flow. This forum has the quality...

Like what you guys said, the problem with RCtech is the sheer volume of crap relative to nuggets of useful info. :P

1/7th = pitty
I wonder if that Nexxt in the lower right corner is the same chassis as their new sandmaster. The 'EZseries' mark surely suggests something along those lines. Pitty...again

I'm stretching my B4.1 out to 390mm tonight for a Wed night race, just to see what happens
