Kyosho Id= Kyosho ultima ???

I need help to identify this ultima just not sure what kind of ultima? Thanks

Sort of. It looks to be the ZR-1 they produced in their on-road scale series from the early 90's. Based on the Ultima II chassis (a budget series), they featured Kelron (read plastic) chassis, upper plate, shock bodies, tierods, etc. Fun little cars never the less. -Jeff

Thats funny because the guy kept sayn its a onroad car but he wasnt for sure, and i had thought to myself that it was/is an ultima!

Hi - looks like a Ultima II based scale car - Referred to as OR.

It's a chassis from the Kyosho "scale car series." They were Based on the Ultima II just like Jay Dub said.

And their wheelbase is longer than the buggies (except the XL and later ones that used the same kelron chassis).
The longer wheelbase made the proportions better, and contributed to the 'scale' aspect of the line

On my Ultima pro XL the wheelbase is 275mm and the wheelbase of my Ultima II is 280mm

Planning to turn it into a buggy , aren't you?
Good idea, but you'd beter use a taller rear shock tower.
