Life is short. Waste it wisely.
I must say I never had the SRB on my list . Funny a Rough Rider was the very first buggy I've driven back in the early 80's.
I'm not a fan of the gold wheels. Maybe because the gold is a "dull" look not a bright gold.
The silver looks alot better in my opinion.
A nice SRB all the same ...
Same here I love the looks of silver wheels.
But inside our house is always a due process decision and who paid the bill have the power. So gold wheels it will be . (For time being to make her happy).

I used to run this with tamiya stock motor (silver can).
Now i have a doubt if the silver can, could move this buggy due to weight issue (after I installed all the metal parts). I might install a black can motor and let see
if my stock esc can handle it.
SInce there have been a few Scorcher10s I was wondering if anyone had done a SRB RC10 one. I love to watch the videos of the guys (mostly UK) bashing out their Rough Riders, Buggy Champs, and Super Champs on youTube. I just cannot justify the cost...

That little spoiler on the back , and the lack of netting in the sides windows makes me think this body looks like the MRP Mears body (which I just saw in TBG's)
The rear part of the funco is a lot sexier though ;)
A little something I have been working on and driving the last few weeks!

Gear box can handle the power pretty well. If you want to make it bullet proof, find the brass CRP gears. :D
I was wondering if you guys used different paint for these hard bodies vs. lexan. Is there any different prep. I was thinking it may be more like auto body. Thanks guys!

briefly, use tamiya TS paints and yes you should prime. here is a paint tutorial I made for scale 4X4 that outlines the process on a High lift body but the same principals apply to the buggy champ body
Great tutorial.

Hey I found this in a search and have some questions as I'm in the process of modding my Sand Scorcher using the DF-03 slipper as well.
Did you have to swap the top gear out? I didn't even know it would come out.
