I was happy to see the stickers! I just wish Tamiya had the license for all the original sponsor decals!shodog wrote:Very cool. Those stickers make a once difficult box art paint job a breeze.

Re: Buggy Champ Runner
First time out, stupid me kept the lights on and broke the roof light mount.
It glued easy with MBS glue and I will touch it up later. It is a runner!
Soooo......If you guys want to run your buggy champ, remove all the lights first!

Great to see one dirty for a change. great looking buggy. What are you using for a battery? I have the battery 55105 for the kit but no charger for it.

Nice run carnage. Those roofs are very fragile, if you get a chance, pick up a few extra B parts sprues

Re: Buggy Champ Runner
I'm using a 1500 and 2500 7.4v lipo for my Parkzone Spitfire and FW190. Fits like a dream and I just use a bit of Velcro to hold it in! It stays put!rctenracer wrote:Great to see one dirty for a change. great looking buggy. What are you using for a battery? I have the battery 55105 for the kit but no charger for it.
I put a Tamiya black can Sport Tuned motor in as well with the low option gearing. The buggy is quite fast!

Re: Buggy Champ Runner
No, a stick pack will not work! You would have to make a hump pack, 5 cells on the bottom and 1 on top. If you have a lipo charger, just get a cheap 7.4v lipo for a Parkzone spitfire! You could also take your built car to the hobby shop and find many other 7.4v lipos that will fit! The A123 packs are slow, due to the low voltage. Not a big deal on this car!germanrc10gt wrote:could i somehow use a 6-cell stickpack with that original radio?

I thought about this and I'm sure they look cool, but it's just not the same without the hard body. Thanks for the tip!Mr. ED wrote:Or check with mrlexan if he still has any of the bolink funco single seaters left.

Thanks for the info shodog, I will order a tree of B parts!
