we definately sold more tekins. it got to the point that we wouldn't even stock novak stuff because it just sat there.RC10resto wrote:Hey Jason do you know if you guys sold more Novaks than Tekins?when i worked at the lhs, we were sending esc's back to novak for repairs constantly. it was rare that we would send a tekin back

I think that's a regional thing. I worked at the LHS here and we sold nothing but Novak. And I mean nothing but Novak.scr8p wrote:we definately sold more tekins. it got to the point that we wouldn't even stock novak stuff because it just sat there.RC10resto wrote:Hey Jason do you know if you guys sold more Novaks than Tekins?when i worked at the lhs, we were sending esc's back to novak for repairs constantly. it was rare that we would send a tekin back

Re: I need to see a shrink (Lonestar's ESC collection)
Loving this old-school ESC tech.... reminds me of the ones I have, and the ones I used to have.
Just picked up a Novak 610-HRV last week, and it still has the rubber cap over the adjustments..... sweet! Hope it works...
I do have a Pit Wizard that I picked up years ago that I don't use, if you would like to source one...
You know what your ESC collection needs? An ESC that you could build from a kit... lol....
Looking forward to more ESC pics and stories!

There's something still very cool about the old esc's. I also have a sweet collection of these type of units so I can appreciate the way you feel about them.
