I think its a DF300 if that sounds right. Does it have a GS11x in it? I would love to have one of those they look just plain cool. I would leave it nitro but thats just me. Of course if it was brushless and it had a plow on the front that would be awesome.

It was listed as a GS11R, I have not looked at the motor yet, I have never had any luck with nitro lol, I might give it a try again, maybe this one will work out for me, I had a Revo 2.5r and it was nothing but problems, then i got an OS TZ motor for it and it was better but still a pain in the butt lol

When traxxas went to a composite carberator they were asking for trouble. Just ain't right. The OS TZ motor is a very hard to hurt motor. Newer carbs don't seem as user friendly as the older ones (think cv-r and before).
Those blizzards have always been one of those 'must have' oddities I seem to be drawn to. A brushless conversion in there would be simple enuf. Not sure about the 2 speed but the rest looks like it would be pretty straight forward. Nice example of an old nitro blizzard though. Keep us posted on what you do with it NVX.

Peace and professionlism.....Kabunga signing off!!!
I might give the nitro a shot lol, I have been watching the Blizzards on eBay for the past 2 months, They all went for around 250 and up in good condition, I got this one RTR for 185 shipped from Hawaii, and the condition just makes the deal that much sweeter lol
You got a nice deal. That's a pretty clean Nitro Blizzard. They are a lot of fun in the snow. I have a Blizzard DF300 and run the crap out that thing when I can.
It's not a DF. Yours is the version that came right before the DF. I think it was just called the Nitro Blizzard. The electric version of the time was the Blizzard EV.

Understandable that you got a nice deal, not much snow on Hawaii

Hi Mike
Not sure we ever really finished fitting one to the Triumph, I remember we bought one and looked at it, but we never actually offered one as I remember.
That's odd I thought I remembered some instructions included....
Can anyone please help me with a bit of Le Mans tech? I have recently restored my Turbo Scorpion, and have an Optima Pro project on the go now. I want to work out what ratios are suitable for the Le Mans and Spa motors that I...
I'm looking at a Kyosho Stadium Baja Beetle on ebay.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxI can find very little info on the web about. As far as I can see it is a Kyosho Outrage ST with a Beetle body.
Can anyone give me any more...
If anyone has one of these, I need some deminsions from them. There is a set for sale, but Im wondering if they are all the same, or if they have seperate Front and Rear designations, and if the Off-Set will work for what I want them for.
Can...

Measuring up the wide tamiya wheel:
width = 1.25
diameter at bead = 1.9
backspace = .59 (assembled with negative offset)
1.25 - .59 = .66 (distance from hex surface to outer wheel lip on tamiya wheel)
I finally got one! Have wanted one for years, but just couldn't ever bring myself to pull the trigger. This Christmas though my lady surprised me with the wifi version :D
I have only gotten a few minutes of drive time so far, but I am impressed...

Nice. Blizzards are great fun in the snow. Curious how well the Wifi control works. Is it easy to control? Does it have a pretty clear picture?
Controls are very simple. Pretty much identical to using a 2 stick radio. The camera has a nice clear...
Always wanted one of these. Bought it in the beginning of the summer but since it's starting to get colder outside I figure I better get it ready. I plan on painting like an old school Kyosho buggy (Optima. Rocky, etc) with a Lemans 240ST motor, and...
