Just another RC10L project.

Post by rctenracer »

This one I have had for awhile . Had some spare time this morning so I cleaned up the chassis and rear pod. All the parts are for the dynamic strut front end . Body is the protoform high down force. I can't seem to finish a project completely before going on to the next one

Awesome, I have recently acquired an RC10L that needs a rebuild and this thread will be a nice reference for me. Can you tell me what those wheels are?

Started working on the front suspension. And installed the motor plate. Next up for me is the servo mount. Damn I have to drill wholes and counter shink. Then body posts the fronts ones in the pics aren't going to work with the 905 body. Maybee some short costom works mounts up front used in place of the bumper mounting nuts as they are threaded 8/32 .

I think I am going to paint it like this and use black rims.

Also some pics of the real car to use as a referance.

Awesome- here is a neat trick for your build. Bruce's wheels and tires are dyeable, mix some liquid for and drop them in at boiling, rinse really well to get it out of the tire foam after.

Great info thanks. I just picked up a Andy's C11 body and going threw some boxes I found a set of tamiya C11 decals that I have that will work great for this body.
