The camera flash makes it look darker
I'm hoping that the 8th hub will be strong enough

Re: Traxxas SRB... Stadium Racing Buggy
I think what you've done there with the hub & steering/suspension linkage is pretty cool, but also think you're at risk of "overcomplexifying" it. And anything that's overly complex is bound to break...there's too many points of failure in that design. Rods are gonna get bent and that alloy ball-cup screwed into the blue control arm end is bound to rip out sooner or later, I'd imagine. But cool how you managed to give it caster adjustability, all the same.

Awesome project!
Why not run the heavy-duty 2wd Slash front carriers?...I've never broke any RPM product.

Re: Traxxas SRB... Stadium Racing Buggy
Thanks Diggley
I don't like feel and lack of steering from the trailing hub, that's why I want the inline steering hub
And I have seen those wheels
I like these better

Re: Traxxas SRB... Stadium Racing Buggy
Right ..Well I dropped the chunky 8th scale hub and chose a Jato steering hub in stead
And they are a direct fit, NO slop, just a wee bit tight
they didn't have the steel axle ( easy enough to make, and a set of 17mm hex hub with bearings)
Got new steering and camber turnbuckles as well
