i have a bunch of those too, had problems tapping the pot metal, and when i polished it to a mirror shine, it dulled in like 3-4 weeks lol. its like the same metal the sand scorcher arms/tranny case are made from. ill keep my eye out too and check if i have any extras. the last 8-32 set i bought from ebay went for like $30 bucks or some horsecrap, was angry i bid too much, happens that way sometimes... i didnt want to get outbid at last minute and i threw a large bid in, and then someone else thought the same thing and threw in a large bid also.

That chassis looks fantastic. One thing that would make it pop is to have it milled like a worlds. the exposed aluminum of the milling would compliment the silver goodies on the buggy

I found these at Ace today. Solid ended acorn nuts in stainless that I polished.

I had the exact same thoughts as I assembled this car.

Very nice build!

I've also been on the hunt for HG knock offs, but they seem to be very difficult to find.

This is one build that needs to go without a body. Awesome decisions on which parts should be gold and which are not. Love it!

I have it about 95% complete. The shiny CVD's I have are way too short, haven't finished the wheel spinners, battery tray(think metal), wing tubes, and a few other odds and ends.
