Need assistance on RC10 steering mechanism
Can anyone help me out here? These came with a buggy I bought but they make no sense to me lol. How do these assemble? The post are threaded and are held in by the nose plate screws but they don't sit level. Anyone ever seen these before?

Re: Need assistance on RC10 steering mechanism
Thanks scr8p. I did a search and noticed that the other HT pieces have the same orientation on the threaded posts. Mine has one upside down making them sit unleveled. Flipping one of the arms obviously won't work. I think I can see why you said what you did!

I have to agree with scr8p on these. I bought a set when they first came out and went back to just running the stock bellcranks with two tiewraps. You're better off with the stock bellcranks than these by a longshot!

Yeah, I think you guys are right. Based on the following thread http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=20248 it's pretty obvious that one of these arms was stamped upside-down.

Thanks for the pics Jedi! The pics confirm that I'm not nuts! I guess I'm off to the BST section to look for some steering parts

or just space the other side up to match. And "space it up" is technically the wrong phrase. Thread it up to the same height.
