Gotcha. What were the main reasons for cutting the nose piece at angles on both sides? I have a brand new standard gold nose piece and was wondering if there will be any difference in steering servo mounting?

Re: Gold pan whole lotta metal build.
That's the exact look that my C stamp ´94 CE had from new
Short nose tube and cut nose (no more long WB option like on the earlier model)
Black arms front and rear
Relocated turn buckle on bulkhead (directly under the wing tube)
White Stealth gearbox
Nylon gearbox brace

Very nice. If I were you I'd take the time to have the metal gearbox case and bell cranks annodized gold to really set it apart.

Re: Gold pan whole lotta metal build.
Thanks for the comments! I did consider anodizing the tranny case, front and rear alloy hubs, bell cranks and a few other items, but I think I'm gonna try something slightly different. Still waiting on several more metal parts to arrive. My goal is to get a good mix between the gold and silver with minimal black. Maybe give the gold a little contrast. If it turns out crappy looking, I'll need the name of your anodizer Flip!

Re: Gold pan whole lotta metal build.
I did get a little bit of work done polishing last night after figuring out what is most effective for anno removal.
