RC10 TO RC10B1.5 CONVERSION USING RC10B2
RC10 TO RC10B1.5 CONVERSION USING RC10B2
Hi,
Just been playing with the old rc10 and found out the rc10b2 bits fit.
So have rc20b2 arms / wishbones etc on the rc10.
Yes it's wider, that's fine.
Question is I need longer CVD's, had a search and can't find anything, has this been done before, if so what to use?
Or anyone tell me the length of rc10gt cvd's, they might fit??
Other ideas options?

i highly doubt truck cvd's will fit, they will be way too long.
when we use klein arms (longer then stock, but not as long as truck) b44 rear cvd's fit.
measure your arms and post it up. i don't have a b2 so i can't compare them.

you can try either b4 rear cvds, or b44 rear cvds. They are slightly different lengths, but both longer than the rc10/b2/b3 length bone.
check the picture to see the difference between the B44/B4 cvd overall length. About the bottom of the top 1/3 of the page.

the b4 one looks about 3mm longer than the b44 one, but i dunno offhand the difference between the b2 and b44 one.
you might also have to juggle some hub carriers to get the overall width where you want it. rc10/b2/T is different than b3/t3 and B4/B44, so there might have to be some mix and match.

Use the B2/B3 type rear arm mount to move the arm inboard, or use a flush rear hub like the Losi 2038 rear hub, and the B4 CVD.

I like the "wide stance", got some RC10T shafts on order, taken a gamble, see if they will fit..............

Well, got a mail saying parts on order, so cancelled it....
Going back to stock set up, at least then if I ever make it to BRCA reg meeting I'll be ok, after a bag of sugar been dropped on the car......
