Re : My RC10 Gold Pan Runner Build
Re : My RC10 Gold Pan Runner Build
This is a great site and I would like to get some info regarding RC10 Gold Pan Runner builds. I have a "A" Stamp chassis and would like to use the same B4 Hub Set Up with B44 CVAs. Most of the builds that I see here in the forum shows a B4 Hub/B44 CVA setup with Dyonotech Klein Arms. I was wondering if I can use the standard RC10 Gold Pan rear arms and still use the B4 Hub and B44 CVA without any distance issues. Any info would help.

Re: Re : My RC10 Gold Pan Runner Build
I've made a little bit of progress on my RC10 Gold Pan Runner. I used the the stock front axles and I was able to fit the B4 front yellow wheels without any modifications. I also got a new set of black anodized nose tubes and black battery cups which apparently are still available from towerhobbies.com (part no. ASC6321 and ASC6334 respsctively). I am still waiting for the B44 Rear Hubs to beceome available as they are in back order. I am using Associated B4 Rear Hubs so I can fit the newer wheels and tires. Below is a picture of my current buld progress:

Re: Re : My RC10 Gold Pan Runner Build
Got my B44 Rear CVAs. This is just a mock up but I also added the rear B4 Yellow wheels with Jconcepts Bar Codes Rubber. Taking cues from other builds in this forum, I also added a couple of shims inside the hub and a B44 Rear Wheel Spacer. Everything looks to be in order and ready to go. Below is a picture of my build with a Protech Body Shell from my other Shelfer. I cannot duplicate the Box Art Orange as this was painted with Tamiya Can Paints (frost yellow backed with orange backed with black). I plan to use a viper body (ASC6121) and a high downforce wing to match.
In the background is another one of my shelfers. A Kyosho Turbo Optima which I recently gave the body a brake fluid bath.
