Polished pan build
Here are some pix of some parts I have been gathering for a while.I plan on this being a runner/racer.There is an indoor clay track around here i plan on racing it at when I get it finished. It started out with a black tub but I had this polished roller I got from Noony and it just seemed a better fit.I still need to slide it all together and measure for some turnbuckles and order some B44 cvd's and battery cups.
Parts list so far,
Robinson racing 3.5 rear arm mounts
MIP ds/10T bb steering set up
RPM arms front and rear and centerlink
lunsford titanium front axles
HG titanium ball studs
Atlas transmission brace(looks better than nib ae brace)
Team Blue Groove towers front and rear(bought those before I knew about Atlas)
Inet RC c blocks and rear hub carriers
misc AE stuff

They took a few weeks to get TBG is in Canada. Atlas makes some sweet towers too and they don't have to ship through customs.craigc8791 wrote:Those towers look sweet man!

Re: Polished pan build
So TBG Machining IS still making goodies? I lost track of his ebay store, kind of seemed like he shut down. How do you contact them now? Through TBG bodies?

That's looking good, nice alternative to anodising.
Would you have a part number for the Robinson racing 3.5 rear arm mounts?
cheers

I ordered those towers early this or late last year. I've been sitting on those for a while. The rear mounts are RRP-2035. Got those off flea bay awhile ago to. They were new in bag.

I really like the look of polished aluminum and carbon fiber.
You have some nice goodies for your build too.
I'm trying to do something similar with my 10T.

Re: Polished pan build
All right, slid it together with some AE blue screws that showed up at my lhs. They have never stocked these.Mocked up the turnbuckles to get some size reference for my lunsford order.Well I think it sits a little too high.I put some spacers in the rear, that brought it down a little.I measured the pushrods in the rear but I forgot to write the measurement down
and just put the shocks together.I think the shocks came off a truck. So any suggestions on pushrod lengths and shock bodies would be greatly appreciated.I also plan on running this with a 17.5 brushless setup so any pinion/spur #'s would be great also.I want to be competitive with the modern stuff.
So here are some pix let me know what you think and any help would be great.
